Creating Your Website Has just Got A Whole Heap Easier
Will changing from Block Builder REALLY make a difference?
This website went from earning $90 per YEAR with adsense, to earning $200 PER MONTH.(verifiable)
The site was purchased earlier this year (2008). At that time, it earned $90 per annum, with adsense. It was transitioned
to a completely new look, using the capped width fluid template. NO new content was added. It now earns around $200
per month....that's around a 1000% increase in earnings!
Can you expect that sort of increase? probably not. This is an exceptionally good result.
However, you may well get some sort of an increase. I can't guarantee that of course, but
there seems to be some correlation between the look of your website and adsense earnings.
In the site shown above, by transistioning, the new owner was able to make full use of includes
to make changes to the adsense placement, style, colors etc.
She could tweak this quickly and easily until the best combination for this particular site was found.
But pictures speak louder than words.
So take a look at an actual example.click on the image to the left to visit the website. Resize that page using any or all of the main browsers. IE6, IE7, and version
of Firefox or Opera. Or perhaps try Safari. You will get the same results. Resize the page slowly, so you can see
exactly what is happening to the page as the window changes width.
And while you're at the site, visit the homepage, so you can compare the ORIGINAL look with the new.

Take a look at this web-page
View it with as many screen resolutions as you can. Start at 800x600, and work up to whatever your highest setting is.
(to do this, right click on your desktop, and select "properties". Now use the "settings" tab to access the
sceen resolutions option).
Notice the header images expand and contract with the different monitor settings, but the header text remains
stationary?
Result.....a page that displays perfectly, regardless of monitor resolution, OS, or browser.
The header design and horizontal navigation contains some extra code added to the template....

My site, love-of-roses.com A full width site, I have chosen to use a faded color background. Tabbed nav buttons along the top
(you can get the code and full instructions for those off my template owners section of the site) the aim of
the site is to present rose pictures and information to my viewers, in what I hope is a nice relaxed environment.

I have used a rounded edge white text box to hold all the content, with a totally black background.
This won't be a look that everyone likes, but it does show how you can get a different look and feel with very few
alterations.

Annis site this has top navbar, with a different left nav, depending on what section of the site you are at.
A reasonably traditional look and feel works perfectly for this site.
Something a little different If you like plenty of color and visuals, then this is the place to start!
I like the way the nav has been divided up into sections, and scrollboxes used in the main content area to maximize the usable space.
Color scheme set up to match the header A purplish look to the sky background in the header sets the
tone for the whole site. Links and div boxes have been set to complimentary/matching colors, to tie the look together.

The Fixed Width Template
Let's take a look at what you can do with this template....very easily, and with no fuss. The ebook steps you through
each stage. Your only limit is your imagination.
This is how the template loooks when you get it. A basic 3 column design, ready for you to paste in your own
content, add your links and images etc. Very little needs to be done to get your first page up online.
So you could just change a few colors and leave it at that....it will still look great. Click on the image to see how the
default page looks at full screen size. (note that the gradient background will not be showing
as a seamless blend, due to the limitations of the image quality....the actual background will be much nicer).
You could be a little more adventerous, if you want. This has a header of 760px, so the page is slightly wider.
a faded strip added to the left edge, and the header has an image that spills out over the
content and right column area. Of course, if you think doing something like that is too difficult for you, then just
ask for help! You don't HAVE to do this alone. We do graphic setups like that for you at a very reasonable cost.
Push the envelope a little further?this has had more time and effort put into the header. But still,
it's nothing overly complex. there is a double drop down nav along the top. this allows a single column to be used.
So taking full advantage of that extra space, we have a full width background image. And over that, is a faded color
allowing the background to show through. Notice that the text and image ISN'T faded however?
Look further down the page. You can see how the background shows through, in this screenshot.
The image adds some atmosphere to the page, while not distracting too much from the content. This requires a bit of
advanced css to achieve. But again, this is something we can setup for you for a very reasonable cost.
Using background images. Here's a new idea....using the background images as part of the page. Arranging content
around the background, breaking up the traditional text-image-text-image format that
you see on so many sites.
The text boxes contain a small thumbnail, some teaser text, and a link to the relevant page. This is a great way to get
people to click through to tier 2 pages. Far more visual and tempting that a list of links down the left hand side, would't you say?
This template can also be easily adapted to a single column (as you saw in the screenshots above). So
you can create a professional looking sales page to go with your site. You DON'T need an extra template to do this, just
modify one single page.
I hope you can see that there is very little limits to what you can do with this template. All you need to create your
dream site, is $49, and some motivation! Every aspect of the template is adjustable. From colors to widths,
fonts to column layouts. Want some horizontal navigation for example?

Who Is This Package Designed for?
For those that have limited experience of HTML, but want the added flexibility and the looks
that ULYOH(Upload Your Own HTML)offers. if you are totally new to SBI and have never even heard of HTML, then this may not be for you.
I would suggest that you start with block builder, and get your site up and running. You will
have enough to learn without adding more!
But if you already have an SBI site running, or have had at least some previous website building experience
(no matter how limited) then this should be easy for you!
So, for the price of less than a template bought elsewhere, here's what you get.

Both the capped fluid width, and the fixed width templates. They are table based layout, with off page stylesheets.
Why not a total CSS design?
The table layout offers great flexibility....it is very easy to modify, and will look good on

Some Of The More Frequently Asked Questions
This is a collection of things Im asked about on a regular basis.
Can I use the template on more than one site?
The template license is for as many of your OWN sites as you wish. try finding that anywhere else!
Any sites must be in your name only. If you share sites with others, then they are not included....you would
require a sperate purchase for those.
Can I use still use Analyze it?
Yes you can. All the block builder tools are available for use, such as analyze it, preview, bloglets etc.
Am I able to use the SBI navbar?
Indeed you can, and the TOC as well. I believe the navigation provided is superior, but the choice is yours to
make. Some people have spread misinformation about this - claiming that the SBI nav can't be used with my template.
So let me set the record straight - you certainly can do so, if that's what you prefer.
What help can I get, if I get stuck?
Some designers may tell you to "read the instructions", then let you get on with it. They have taken your money,
and now don't want to know about your problems. Well, that's not how it works around here.
I pride myself on support, and judging by the emails I get, I do a great job of it. The ebooks are,
packed with easy to follow instructions and screenshots. There is also a large private section of my site,
devoted to helping you get the best from the template. I am also available to answer email queries.
And for those that have issues with getting started, there is a chat room set up on my site.

Will changing over affect my search engine rankings?
Yes it probably will. They are likely to improve! many people have reported that they now get an increase in traffic,
with vistors staying longer and viewing more pages. This is simply by changing over to the template.
The extra visitors can be attributed to a fully optimized template....this is designed to please SE spiders,
and they may well rank your pages more highly in the SERPs.
Length of stay, and page views are due to a more pleasing page design.
Can I use Dreamweaver/Nvu with this template?
the ebook instructions have been written using Arachnophilia. All screeshots are taken using that editor.
So while you can use any editor you wish, it may be more difficult to follow instructions.
That said, you can of course use any editor you want, if you feel comfortable with it. Just apply a bit of common sense
to the instructions, and you should be all right. I can't support other editors, but I will certainly try to help
where I can, with using them. If you know the basic functions of your favorite editor (things like inserting
images, links, finding and saving files etc) you will be unlikely to have any problems.
